$0.20 pre, $2.20 on the flop, fist-pump harder when they shove.

Don't fold sets.

Okayy, Thanks for the tip on raising more..
I thought of maybe folding given the fact he could have a higher set..
Turned out he had AT of hearts, hit the 9 of hearts on the river..

So we never ever fold sets? I got stacked today set over set - I kind of knew he had it but refused to give up.

Not on boards like this. Im almost never giving it up on a suited board either. Just don't fold them on the flop at the micros.

I'm more inclined to fold a set at the micros than I am the higher I move up and play. Just from my experience anyway.

Sorry didn't mean to confuse. I don't mean do fold them more at higher limits. I don't know about the higher limits yet, so I just mean don't fold them at the micros for obv reasons.

If you never folded a set, you'd be right like 90 out of 100 times. Look for bigger edges to fix than those few spots to fold the near nuts. It's similar to folding Kings preflop. If you're only 100 big blinds deep, you should pretty much never fold.

I actually fold sets more often at higher limits cause there is certain nits that wont stack without a set and i can happily fold bottom set vs them guys and fistpump about it, never folding sets at the micros probably a good rule to stick to though

I fold sets but not beacuse i fear my opponent has a bigger set because that would be dumb. I fold only there are obvious draws on the board and i know that is verry likely that someone hit it. But i am talking about the turn or the river not the flop.
Considering folding your set on the flop is crazy. No matter the board texture.
Set over set odds are 98:1. Imagine loosing one to a bigger set but winning more than 65 of the rest. Not a bad deal. Do not bother thinking that your opponent has a bigger set. Pay attention to the draws because that is where the tricky part is. If someone shoves on the flop they most likely are behind you and you should call. Also never slowplay sets. They are verry powerfull to valuebet because they are well hidden .

Is it correct to just jam sets when there is flop action? 98 to 1 against another set (which may not even be bigger) is not too scary and the draws need to actually hit.
