Playing on Bovada, which won't let me c/p the hand history so I typed it out as best I could; this is my first attempt at this, so I'm sorry if I messed it up.

.02/.05, full ring game but with only 6 players in this hand, no small blind (BB from last hand left the table)

Hero has $4.68 to start the hand, villain has $7.12, BU has $5.82

Hero is CO with QcQs
UTG calls, villain raises to $0.79
One fold
Hero calls
BU calls
BB+UTG fold

Flop comes 7h4h4s

Villain goes all in ($6.33)

Call all-in or fold? I was just thinking about how dangerous playing QQ can be. I figured the villain wasn't likely to have a 4 or a 7 if he bet that hard pre-flop, so the most likely worst-case scenarios would be AA or KK. But how likely are they to go in with something worse? Does having a third player still in the pot affect the decision, and if so, how?

Since Bovada is anonymous I didn't have a lot of information on the villain's playstyle to go on. He wasn't maniac-shoving everything, at least.

I think I shove pre, villian opened for 16x UTG...like wtf??, so I'm so shoving QQ over him in that situation and call that flop in a heartbeat. These two points considering an unknown, always the chance he flips AA or KK or AK of hearts to have the nut flush draw on the flop, but IMO if I didn't get it in pre I'm so calling his flop bet.

Snap Call

It is an easy call. Villian can either have AK, AQ but my guess is that villian has a small pocket pair, any pair ranging from 55 to :jd4::jd4:.

If he had AA or KK then most of the time he would bet for value on the flop but shoving all in 3x pot size mostly tells me that QQ is good. I would snap call it within a blink of an eye. If he got you beat then u can't do nothing, just move on to the next hand !

I actually did end up calling,

and he did turn over JJ (the guy after me also called and turned over 88  ). So I got a nice big pot out of it but I was feeling really iffy about it, wasn't sure if it was actually a good call or just a lucky break. I did notice that the pre-flop raise was bizarre.

I think one of my biggest weaknesses as a player now is being able to realistically put my opponent on hands, so both of your points are helpful.

Snap snap snap call. V is obviously a fish and if he does this with KK/AA then it's just a huge cooler and remember for next time.

Not bad game :) I also think that opponent shouldn't have 4 or 7 so I call it on the flop. If he has AA or KK that's tough! It happens.

Call here. Probably a pocket pair likes JJ and TT and AK if you are beating them. The other guy, AK, AQ, AJ and pocket pairs 77-JJ (maybe KK and AA but unlikely).

Call here likewise. The flop is not dangerous. My only problem is BU. He might had a hand that favored the flop but less likely. I will pay off BU if he hits a hand but not worried to villain at all. Easy call.

The best way to learn and improve about these situations imho, is when you post a hand like this assign a range to your opponent. Ask if that range seems reasonable given your image, the opponent, and how the hand played. Talk about it from there so that you can just plug in your range to your favorite equity calc, and you'll always have the correct answer. :)

How long had you been at the table with this guy, and what had you seen?

With nothing at all to go on, I'd guess the range for his big raise pre- is middle pairs, maybe plus hands like AJs. If he had AA, KK, maybe QQ, he might inflate the pot by raising big to 8-10x, but more than that suggests somewhat weaker.
