Hero opens 3x from the SB with AJo.
Villain calls.

Flop: 554 rainbow
Hero C bets, villain calls.

Turn: 554-A, giving us top pair good kicker
Hero double barrels, villain calls.

River: 554-A-7
Hero puts villain all in for 80 cents into pot of $1.60.

Did hero have the right to c-bet on the flop, turn, or river? Or was it overplayed?

You should post more info about the hand w/o spoiler (stack sizes, bet sizes, player stats).

Without knowing anything about villain, it's very difficult to say whether a bluff (double or triple barrel) is good or bad. Most players do not float through the turn, so he probably has something.

Having seen the rest, it seems the biggest mistake was not paying attention to stack sizes and position. He is playing short, so he is not going to be calling you without a hand on the flop. Further, he's BB which means his range is probably wider than usual.

The turn Ace definitely helps you, but at that point you haven't ruled out that he has a 5. Therefore, betting on the turn was a big gamble that essentially committed you to the pot on the river.

i would probably check the turn for disguise if he leads on the river you have a good bluff catcher or you can raise if you believe you have the best i agree with cbet on the flop but after that all he reps is an A 44s or a 5

Thanks a lot for your feedback and my apologies for not posting much information regarding the complexity of the hand. I thought the screenshots would help but I know it’s part of the forum guidelines to include these details. I wanted to post another hand and got super lazy lol. Will try and practice more appropriate ‘hand analysis detailing’

Check the turn to induce a bluff here. You're probably going to play for stacks, since your opponent is short. But I doubt a hand like 88 is going to call three bets.

It sounds like your opponent in this hand was short stacked. So I really wouldn't worry about it. Your play is fine.
