Total pot: $4.77 | Rake: $0.23

BTN is 24 / 9 / 2.4% 3bet over 468 hands. AF 1.5 (28%). No notes but I was under impression he isn't really good (he is losing 58bb/100 so maybe that is why) but of course sample is small.

Thinking:
- Flop is the classic "cooler scenario" with set over set but I don't trust this guy to only do this with sets so I decide it is best to string him along.
- Turn changes nothing except if he as AJ he is now truly hooked ;) my minraise sets up river jam.
- River - he folds??? To say I was astonished is an understatement, WTF is he calling the turn with and folding river? OESD? Random PP that was chasing a cooler?

1. Line check and thinking process evaluation?
2. Is there a way to stack this guy (jam turn)?

Edit: I didn't expect this guy to play OESD aggressively but probably that is what happened here. He probably called with T9s.

Raise more ott, it looks like he missed his draw. It doesn't look like you will be able to stack this villain in this particular hand.

I misread his hand, passives generally don't play draws aggressively so that threw me off.

Just bet the turn. If you don't expect him to bet his draws then wtf are you going for a check-raise?

Bet bigger on flop; also bet the turn. Your min x/r looks way to strong when you do that. If you're trying to trap; then I prefer a x/c as opposed to min x/r I hate those lines, it's usually a line a fish would take with the nuts. I think you personally just turn your hand face up; to either a strong Jx or exactly a FH.

Also if he has Jx, or a FH he's paying you off anyway - if he hasn't he's folding. Just go for maximum value on each street.

Well he raised the flop with something. On the turn he is betting any J (especially AJ) and I don't expect him to fold it.

I hoped he bets turn larger... his sizing is not enough to get stacks in.

If you don't expect him to fold, then why are you min x/r the turn? Raise bigger for value..

Well because I failed to consider he might have a draw :( figured he calls river with that J (or QQ/TT/whatever) for sure. Stupid mistake.

I don't think waiting for the river helps :) I think the advice on more OTT would help especially if the guy held Th9h OESDFD
You made a mistake with putting him on a different, but at least you had the decency to reraise on the turn so you still made quite a bit out of him :)

checking the river may have induced a bluff, a lot at this level push when they've missed straights/flushes. And just re-raise or shove if he takes the bait.

3bet/GII flop. He has J8-JT and T9 more frequently than sets.

I don't think you played this poorly at all but I like leading turn after b/c flop to get him to spazz and jam all of his Jx.

Aces - Yeah, wrong hand read makes for wrong decisions, if I figured him for a draw I check river or bet super small to induce a shove.

Aleksei - I am not sure he gets it in on the flop with just a pair, even TPTK. Turn is ideal to GII.

baudib1 - Yeah, or at least raise turn more.
