You dont say if you have any reads on these players.

If any of these two are even remotely sticky(meaning they dont fold to c bets) then I dont c bet this. I mean, its a really dry board and HU I probs would c bet it but vs two players and being sandwiched in between I just check it.

The turn isnt a very good card to barrel cause unless they were calling with just overcards they're not folding here anything here.

The river is really player dependent but for the most part players at 5nl wont fold here esp with anything they were calling a flop and turn bet. Since you didnt have a full stack to start the hand you cant even put in a pot sized bet here so pretty much they are never folding.

My thinking would go like this (ain't hindsight marvelous?):

Without a read on the villain, on the flop, I don't know if I'd bet so much as a c-bet. I know that there are folks who say to bet 2/3 pot, but lately I've been thinking that you don't need to bet that much on a dry flop.

With the bet called, and the turn being checked to me, I think I'd check back. I probably need more aggression, but in my small sample of hands at micro limits, I've found that most players that don't fold to the c-bet actually have something. I haven't had much profit with bluffing the turn when it's such a dry board.

FWIW, I'd play the same way if I had AKs. Once I miss the flop, I slow down.

Bottom line here, doesn't look like a river bet will take V off his hand. Doesn't feel like he's chasing a draw (there isn't one) so it seems like he's got the goods.

Thanks guys. I realized I probably should've given up on the hand, but result-oriented wise... lol.

Result:

River: ($3.36) :3h4: :9d4: :3c4: :7s4: :4s4: (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.39 (All-in), BB folds, Hero returned $2.39
