I think this hand went poorly? I call the 3bet pre mainly for set-mining, but also to continue sometimes when he cbets, and this obviously seems like a good spot to do that.
But he bets so big. He has 10% 3bet stats (1/10), so he could probably have AK, AQ and AJ here, but I feel like he would make a normal sized cbet with that? Considering the size, how much is it weighted towards Ace highs compared to overpairs?
Is it +EV to just call and fold to continued turn aggression on bricked turns? Do I bet if it gets checked to me on the turn?

I am a 6Max player but because its folded to you I guess it plays the same as in 6Max, he playes 16/16 which is probalbly TAG stats in full ring.
I like the call pre
Folding flop is not too bad imo I think you should lean towards calling most of the time but you also have bigger overpairs and sets that you could call with.
I would normaly call and try to see showdown. If he betts this big with value and bet 1/2 pot with missed hands, then you can exploit him easily in the future!

Oh, yeah, its an easy fold on most boards if he continues betting on the turn!

Yeah, I can see that both options are fine. But I'm starting to question the call preflop. I'm not really deep enough that I can call just to set mine, so if I'm folding on this good of a flop it feels like I should have just folded preflop instead.

Yeah, I'd call flop and try to go to showdown.

There's several threads on this kind of situation in gen poker strategy (calling 3 bets with small-mid pairs). Good rule of thumb: set mine a 3bet only when you and your opponent have at least 10x the 3bet in stacks.
In this case, calling pre (for a set) was and is +EV if u assume ur set will get paid off. As for the flop, tough call and really depends on what u think about villains range.
