My opponent was a very very loose opponent. he played everyhand, he called everybet. He can min raise with anything. I think he was drunk or high lol. I think i made a mistake somewhere through this hand. I felt his range was huge.

Fine as played but I might c/c river. BTW if you're going to bet river pit out something bigger like .80

That river was meant to be a stopper bet. River was bad and good. Bad because it put flush on board but good because it would be a split if he had aq to a9. I probably should have ck called

Your read might dictate otherwise (for example, he raises rivers widely), but making blocker bets on the river and then calling a raise (even a min-raise) is probably a leak.

River bet is bad. It's not big enough to fold out better hands. If it had been the Kd on the river vs. a thinking opponent, a $1 bet would be good to try to fold out chops.

I think your biggest mistake was playing the hand. If you know you have that maniac-ish player behind you, it's not a good enough hand OOP.

For the next streets, if he's a calling station like you say sure bet into him. If he's the kind of calling station that calls only if he has something, then that something is most likely to be an A or a 7, flush draw is in there too. Against that range your A8 doesn't look too good to keep hammering.

If he's the kind of calling station that would keep calling that with 99, sure fire away, and accept that you're bound to have more variation against those types...

I was in bb and if he did have aq to a8 it was a split.
