COs line is really weird so I'd probably just check behind

Not sure why you think you have the best hand here all that often. The 8 makes the 1 card straight possible so villain ch/calling with a PP better than your TT would certainly be possible (assuming he might play JJ that way).

Honestly though I don't like your line throughout the hand. I 3bet the min raise preflop. I don't like your flop bet sizing (little smaller). I don't like the turn ch/r and I don't like your turn ch/r sizing.

As played I check behind and I'm not surprised to see villain show up with better.

I suggest 3-bet pre-flop. Too many callers. On the river, I would check behind. Board is very dangerous. While getting value out of OK hand is important, this isn't a good spot to raise for value because you can be faced with a huge decision when villain check-raises, not to mention how weak the pre-flop was played, making their hand ranges wider. When villain calls on the flop and turn, It's very possible that you may no longer have the best hand because whatever he was chasing after if he was on a draw, might've completed his hand. As WV said, I wouldn't be surprised to see villain show up with better.
