I was wondering if this is the most profitable way to be playing QQ in this spot here. I shove the river but am I getting called by worse or is the best way to keep check calling hoping he will voluntarily put money in the pot with worse.

Zoom poker:

PokerStars - $0.05 NL FAST - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $7.61 (VPIP: 19.15, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, hands: 48)
SB: $0.89 (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 7)
Hero (BB): $6.77
UTG: $6.93 (VPIP: 14.29, PFR: 14.29, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 14)
UTG+1: $5.28 (VPIP: 10.89, PFR: 4.95, 3Bet Preflop: 2.56, Hands: 103)
UTG+2: $6.56 (VPIP: 15.38, PFR: 15.38, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 13)
MP: $5.00 (VPIP: 11.83, PFR: 5.38, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 94)
MP+1: $4.86 (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 4)
CO: $4.86 (VPIP: 8.09, PFR: 5.23, 3Bet Preflop: 5.26, Hands: 177)

SB posts SB $0.02, Hero posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has Q:club: Q:heart:

fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, CO raises to $0.15, BTN calls $0.15, fold, Hero raises to $0.50, CO raises to $1.10, fold, Hero calls $0.60

Flop: ($2.37, 2 players) 7:diamond: 6:spade: 5:club:
Hero checks, CO bets $1.20, Hero raises to $5.67 and is all-in, fold

Hero wins $4.57

In hindsight it was probably a poor way to play the hand because I'm not sure we are getting called by worse here very often. Small flop so there are a number of lower pairs here that could call, but due to the 4 bet preflop we are looking at a small range. While the shove does protect my hand, is it worth it?

CO seems rather tight over 177 hands. You might consider folding preflop. His likely 4betting range is no worse than AK. Best case scenario is probably a coin flip but you're probably dominated. If you're not folding, you're shoving. Flatting pre is pointless.

Preflop play: Even though your opponent appears tight. You should've 4bet if you wanted more value. Most likely he had something like AK but could've been a lil wider from the CO.

FLOP: Horrible... Your only getting called by KK & AA ... Perhaps 3/4 bet he might float you, You don't want him to draw on you but you'd love him to call and make some more money off him. with what appears his AK ... It's hard to put him on low pockets due to his 8% so keep an eye on your opponents stats when making a decision if you want the best value.

I think you basically figured it out yourself. It's possible that I would have folded pre, just because the dude is so tight and he 4 bet you. That narrows his range to pretty much AK, AA, KK. If I did call I think I would have called it down to the river, letting him continue to C-bet. Maybe could have gotten one more bet out of him, but not to likely.

If you fold QQ that easily, ppl will exploit you all day everyday.

P.S don't play with scared money.

Also someone that tight might as well be very loose. It's exploitable both predictable.
