Firstly you have to cbet the flop- it would be unfortunate to lose a street of value especially since you had the betting lead. I have a feeling if you did that the hand would have played differently, if you got a call i don't know if its a good idea to db or not. i feel like check calling at that point opens about the door to him bluffing as it would be pretty clear that you are scared of a jack so i think thats a good thing however sometimes he would have a jack...so i dono thoughts?

I agree not leading on the flop was a huge! I think I was playing scared bc how the session was going and went into x/c mode to be not pushed off the hand.

Thanks everyone!!

As others have said, I'm Cbetting this flop with AA 100% of the time, for 2 reasons:

1) Most importantly: for value. There are plenty of worse hands that can call you here. There are straight draws (QT, KT, KQ), worse pairs (55-88, TT, QQ, T9s, 98s, 97s) and plenty of flush draws. You want to extract value off all of these hands.

2) This is a lot more subtle, but it balances your Cbetting range. Imagine if you Cbet this flop with all your Ace high and King high hands, as well as your trips/boats/quads, but you check-call with all your overpairs. That means that the majority of your Cbetting range here is going to be bluffs (since there's only 12 combos of trips/boats/quads in your UTG opening range if you're opening AJ+, 55+). By Cbetting this flop with QQ+, you're adding another 18 combos to your value betting range, which helps to balance out the 48 combos of bluff Cbets you might throw out (assuming you bluff Cbet with AK, AQ, KQ). Having a balanced range will help you significantly once you reach 25NL+

I don’t mind the play, you could fold river too I think calling and folding are quite close.

Experimental play would be to raise flop and fold to resistance.

Both opponents have significant gaps between vpip and pfr which means they like to flat call speculative hands.
You are miles ahead of their ranges. Mp takes a cheap stab after it checks around and you know it's nothing strong because he doesn't follow it up on the turn.
Quite possibly the worst I've seen aces played in quite a while.
This hand indicates a lack of understanding of hand ranges generally and your lack of willingness to bet hints at deeper issues in your game.

Cbet flop and keep betting if there's no aggression imo. Villains are still kinda fishy, even though theyre not 40/5.
