He could have had 99 tt jj qq kk aa ax 6x 43 42 52 53 or a flush draw. But a straight and you would basically be drawing dead or drawing for a chop.

You are calling 700% of the pot with 88 and draws/straights on the board.. It was a good fold by all means.

Easy turn fold, might fold flop too if your plan was to just set mine.

Also turn on auto rebuy to stay at 100bbs

Easy call preflop here.

I would be check/raising here OTF. I don't think villain has shit here. Why would he try to push you out of the pot?

He may have an ace for a straight, fold turn.

When he shoves the turn I am getting horrible odds to call his shove so the risk to reward ratio is extremely high that folding on the turn is my only option.

I did say fold turn. Did you read it?

I just would have c/r flop that's all.

FOLD FLOP save your money... Your goal was to setmine and you missed it.

Remember OOP harder to get paid off.. And it's harder to get cheaper cards.. Get out on the flop is most simplest or your just burning money. If you reraise he'll most likely shove... It's just ugly

Fold flop with an overpair? So when someone raises you automaically out him on aces?
AK AQ, not an option?
