Do we see any other way to play this hand? I'm doing review so I can't say I remember this hand specifically but I wasn't willing to raise on any street because they kept firing. Can we find a fold here?

Perhaps I would have been better off raising the turn?

Several things alarm me about the hand. It being a 4 way pot would be first. Guy fires a pot size bet into 3 other players on the flop would be next. I think I peel one more off, but when he bets pot again on the turn, I think it's time to throw your hand away, without having a specific read. There won't be enough bluffs or worse hands playing this way to profitably call somebody down. This hand screamed a set or minimum over pair to the Jack on the flop.

Yep it looks like a set either Aces or Kings. If it's Kings then nothing you could do. However, I wonder if a re-raise after the river could have gotten him off of it?

I like how people subconsciously assume that you lost or got a bad beat just because you posted your hand here. If it were me, I think I probably would have shoved on the turn, but then again maybe that's why I'm losing faster than I'm winning. Villain seems way too loose aggressive. Based on his stats I wouldn't be surprised if he had air or maybe a draw. Worst case scenario, is pocket aces, but what are the odds that he hits a full house on the river if it is pocket aces (3 outs)

3 bet squeeze pre.

As played your line is fine.

Multi way pot. Top pair (jacks), second kicker. People make it sound like the hand is the nuts. Kinda funny. Course I guess its a standard call down by recreational players. Good luck.

You could have squeezed, but a call IP is fine.

22 and 66 in his calling range. AJ may be as well, but his 22% 3bet makes that a bit less likely, although a very small sample size, so.....
AA-QQ probably never in his calling range, TJ-KJ sure, although your blockers discount them.

It looks like 22, 66 or AJ here, I dont see the value in his line otherwise really....

That said, I would play this way a lot as well, but how often did he bet 3 streets?

Good call on the squeeze pre guys. I like that line. Probably wouldn't have helped me out on this hand as villain had 66 but who knows, they may have folded thinking that I may have picked up a monster. As played I think I was too passive just calling this down but it wasn't an easy spot considering I had top pair and didn't want to scare off 88-1010, QQ, AQ+.

@fletch I really don't recall unfortunately but that will be something I'll have to look up.

Thanks for the synopsis everyone

NH. I don't mind a squeeze pre, but don't mind a flat if there aren't really aggro blinds waiting to squeeze.
