bet flop initially more than half pot ....otherwise looks fine, not sure what BB was doing at any stage and was playing losing poker through the flop and turn.

Haha, what a hand. I think your play was fine and just because he got lucky doesn't mean anything. I couldn't see anyone holding two diamonds at this point, maybe KQs, but most of the time your set is going to be good.

You could 3 bet bigger OTF, at that point I'm putting him on Kx, 33 or 2 pair.. I'd say in this case your sizing was the better option cause any more he's likely to fold given his hand.

Then I'm playing it exactly the same way aside from that unless the bigger 3 bet means I can get my stack in on the turn...

Always getting the stack in on the river like you and never giving him credit for a flush dude

Raised more on the flop and shoved the turn. And yes, bad beats suck by random button clickers.

Bet more on the flop. 3bet larger. In both cases, if he's calling, how likely is it that he will fold if you make it somewhat more? Plus if he calls both, you're set up with a stack size such that shoving the turn won't look unusual.
