I'm thinking he has a pocket pair that's higher than mine. So I folded. He didn't want me to hit the flush which is the reason for his shove.

1) Don't post results

2) Your question is impossible to answer without more reads. Is he aggressive? Passive? Plays top pair like the nuts?

From his stack size and limp/calling he seems passive, basically if you think he does that with 8x it's a call if not a fold

Either fold to his flop 3bet or don't fold. Calling the flop to fold the turn is just throwing money away.

Normally that's true, but his 3-bet on the flop is so small he even has the odds to set mine if I haven't miscalculated here.

He's only going to hit his set about 4% of the time on the turn (remember we're basically never going to get to see the river for free), so I don't think we're getting close to what we need to set mine.

Is the overpair the results or was op just stating what he was thinking?

if those are the results, then disregard the following, but a limp utg at 5nl normally signifies a small pocket pair/2 sooted cards...and on that board, especially with the weakness villian is attempting to show by less than min raising? this just feels like a set....Weakness= strength alot of the times in the micros
