Under normal circumstances a standard fold right?

But what about this time?

Sorry Caps, not sure why it's so unusual, b/c you think he's tilting with the chat, or the fact he's pushed pf?

Assuming utg and mp have folded, occasionally I will call here. I think were usually flipping most of the time, but I'd probably need some more hands on villain to judge that. Fold most of the time though for me.

Context is great, wish more would provide that, but how often are we really significantly ahead here? Still a fold.

The combination actually. The unusual part was, imo, that he was obviously sincerely tilted from the previous hand which made me figure his pf shove range might have gone from KK+ to almost ATC temporarily.

But then again he doesn't have to have much of a hand against me to have a decent shot against 77.

Perhaps a better question is strategic. How much should/shouldn't this sort of situation affect a decision?

Your right that this is likely tilt. But meh 77 is still just too weak. Lets start thinking about it once we have TT

Lets not get too meta game about this.. we are talking about a guy who has just lost 43c to a lesser preflop hand. How much tilt does 43c buy? (in real terms we are talking about half a can of soda)

This is 2nl right?? If it is then thats a 261bb shove, no way i'm calling with anything under TT personally, he might be tilting, he might not, either way thats a deep pot and losing with 77 there would really hit your winrate, if you win at 15bb/100, which isn't unrealistic for 2nl, then it would take you 1740 hands to win it back, dunno how much volume you play but that would take me like at least a week @ 6max, maybes more if i had a lot on lol

The gambler in me would say call but the sensible poker player would say fold and wait for a better spot

+1, but it is hilarious how crazy people will get about those pots. Even up to 10/25NL with some of the small(er) pots.
