Villian 33/1 over 78 hands.

Is this just a clear fold or another weak fold by me? Do we have like zero equity nearly everytime in this spot? I struggle vs short stacks...kind annoying because I know they could be doing this with any pair here as they are committed but MEH...I don't think this is a good time to stack?

Thoughts on pre/post/turn?

Deffo felt like two pair minimum here for me, but I was more inclined to think 10,j got there.

Given the stack sizes I am not ever folding this hand postflop. I bet more on the flop and bet/call the turn.

Do you expect to be good though? I keep hearing about priced in calls and "calling it off" regardless etc..but I just get this feeling in most cases this is deffo a fold especially because of how his aggression/raising is next to none in the hands I have on him previously so I feel I'm paying them off when I really feel a pocket pair is no good here..

I just don't really even consider it to be important to be honest. If he hit he hit. I also make it 20c preflop. There is just no way that a 60bb stack can win in the long run versus me here when played like this. I make a plan for the hand and go with it. AA versus a short stack is just all in all day.

BR79 got it spot on. 20c preflop with fish in the blinds, almost pot on the flop and then turn there is no thinking about because we have like a PSB left or something close.

I fold.
Villain appears passive, KQ just made it, I'm not convinced KJ or weaker value can do this regardless of villains stack size. As for draws JT has made it and flush draws would raise the flop, your not going to get many people passive enough to flat the flop yet aggressive enough to ship the turn.
KQ/JT/Q9/K9/99/44 is far from a skinny range.

I bet much more on the flop. We have a fish and a drawy board. 30c should do nicely.

This is horrible reasoning.
Basically someone has less than 100bbs we should never fold AA regardless of what comes down, villains range, villains aggression? Like were do you draw the line with this rule of yours? 80bb? 70?

Making an inflexible plan to commit regardless of how the cards come down, the player type, our relative hand strength and the betting patterns is awful. Its fish pshycology "I have aces/toppair if I am beat postflop I was just unlucky"
Overpairs, even AA need to be folded at times.

I prefer this line. It charges him more for draws + prices us in to snap the turn. Even if he has two pair we have counterfeit outs.

By not raising enough preflop and not betting enough on the flop, you're not punishing the villain enough and make the stack sizes awkward on the turn.

I believe this is the good way to play Aces at this lvl.
