I am aware of Beluga, I suppose this is a classic case particularly with this villain although sample size is pretty tiny.

I usually would make it 5bb pre here, made a mistake in seeing that SB also limped. How much do you advocate raising pre in this spot, and why?

Flop and Turn bets

Very hard laydown as played. Maybe has KJ. I don't think you need to bet so much on the turn in this situation and maybe a bit less on the flop as well. Something like 45c on the flop and 80c on the turn. 80c factoring in the smaller pot on the flop.

As played it would be very easy to feel somewhat commited to the pot.

3.5-4bb + 1bb per limper is kinda my standard for opening premiums so I'd probs raise to .30 -.40 (6-8bb)pre. I lean towards 8 here.

This guy is passive so you can be pretty sure you're beat here esp when getting Beluga'd.

+1 to what most people said. It's a fold, one that I rarely do and it's costing me

Right, because you only bet a lot when you're bluffing. Otherwise when you have a good hand you don't want to win much, amirite?
