Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 19/14/1

A lot of the HA replies you read on this site always say fold or get the money in the middle. How would you analyze this hand if you were the hero having air? With this fold or raise mentality, do you ever feel confident enough to exploit weak TAGs to pull off a bluff like this or just fold over fear?

If your going to call a 3bet to bluff fire on the flop IP.More than likely it wouldn't have worked though. When he checked called the turned i put him on AQ or AJ maybe 10 10.I would have raised more on the river you getting called by what ever is in his range or bluff range with a diamond.

Hate calling the 3bet preflop.

Nice that you got lucky with the 4 diamond board but you won't get miracle boards like that often enough to make calling the 3bet even IP profitable.

Blasting out a bet on the flop against a preflop 3better gives the OOP villain an opportunity to check raise for an easier pot takedown. The second check was really weak of him, and I agree with you he either had a AQs or TT or lower.

I agree with you WVHillbilly. In this particular case the opponent is a known weak player. He'll fold any hand that isn't the nuts or doesn't have really big equity, which makes ATC profitable.
