Pretty sure you aren't allowed to insult other members on here....
But anyway, not sure how people play at .05 NL on poker stars, but at least where I play he could have a bit more than the ranges previously posted.
is one possibility, might call a 3 bet in position (you only have a few hands on him, right?) Then again I'm a pretty bad player myself, so take this with a grain of salt.
A lot of criticism is put to your preflop play, sure, raising bigger is better but that's not the main mistake in the hand.
AQs seems more likely to call a 3bet than 88. TT, JJ, QQ are also in Villains range, as previously stated. Other hands are AK, and yea, some 88s and 99s occasionally (since we dont know opp that well)
But on the flop you can remove a lot of those hands. If he thought you were 3 betting light, he would 4 bet pre, or raise flop. So opponent knows you have a hand, and to flat you he must have a hand himself.
This makes a flopped set of Jacks likely, or another over pair such as QQ. TT would have a shyte 3 straight, and would have to proceed cautiously, or exert some aggression rather than playing passively.
River is certainly a check/fold, but Turn you'd have to think that you are betting for value against AJ (very unlikely) and AQ (only one hand). Maybe consider checking here and reacting to your opponent. You certainly cant bluff, since no better hand would fold, so think about what hands are good enough to call, yet are still beaten by a pair of kings.
Hope thi what somewhat useful OP
