Very odd line you took, what is this small donk bet on turn? Check-call or check-raise and lead river if it checks through. A boat can beat you here, you took a weak line and it's possible he is bluffing you but you don't beat any value hands , maybe 97s. If you think he is bluffing more than 1/3 of the time, you could call. Without reads, I fold unless I know he overvalues an overpair in a single raise pot.

surprised that you called the raise. However, having done so, you should have check-raised the flop, imo. the small bet on the turn when he flat calls you is a little odd as well. I think he has an over pair but your trip nines should be best. how did it go?

Without stats I'd say a raise otr is always a fold at these stakes. What hands could he have that would be able to raise here? I think even an over pair is just gonna call otr. So I'm cry folding here.

I think calling and folding are about equal, raisin all in just plain wrong because what worse hand will call your raise? You get raised by over pairs and also your line presents a hand that might fold when raised, so aggressive players will fkyou rise on the river.

And what @c9 says, fold pre.
