turn was a blank and i figured that at least one of them had a piece of it(straight draw or queen). Once the ace hit, villain threw out that almost pot size bet which made me think he knew i had an ace and would call his bet and would take it with a straight or he had a queen and figured it'd be good(but i doubt it since he probably would've bet the turn?)

Bet the river for about $0.75 instead of check/calling. A queen *might* value bet the river, but they might check behind. By check calling, you're allowing AT/AQ/KJ/A3/ to value-town you, and KQ/QJ/Q9/JJ/AJ to take a free showdown. Also, you set the price for showdown, and if you're raised, you have a pretty easy fold.

As played, I think this is probably a fold, for the reasons previously mentioned that the hands you beat usually check behind, and micro stakes tend to be kinda weak-tight.

C-bet the flop a little larger too.

Yeah, you have 4 clean outs to the nuts and 6 somewhat dirty outs to TPTK. Given our equity, I'd bet a little larger since we're more likely to continue later in the hand if we get called.

$0.35-$0.40 seems fine.
