This was interesting.

This guy is a passive sort of guy, never got out of line much so I expect him to have at least something like either, a FH or trips which he thinks is good to raise.

His river action kinda instantly made me think he has a FH...however I know at this limit they also think trip Jacks also is good here.

What would you do here?

A few options, fold..(seems bad), raising (??I guess in general only "better" will stack us) calling seems best, but is there ever any merit in raising what do you think?

I guess probs not.

Thoughts would be cool.

Raise for value. He doesn't fold flushes, often calls trips and sometimes can't let go of TT and similar hands ime. But I haven't played in like a year, what do I know?

Raise for value, ainec

Sure its possible he slowplayed a set here, but def pay it off if he did. You're crushing the rest of his range (easily any j, any flush..likely wider) and have to get value.

You're rarely beat here because passives will generally check-raise the turn with 2 pair or a set. River donk is most likely a blocker with 3 Js or a weird bluff.

I'd click it back or shove if he's a fish like Acky says.

This. Usually I'd hate getting it in here, but like said, with the way action went he's like never going to have flatted the turn with a set

Thanks for the replies.

Ok, I did actually small raise, wanting value from jx or weaker flushes he snap jammed. I sighed called thinking this "has" to be a FH anyway can't fold, called as he turned over 33! woooot? I just valued towned myself and made myself look silly! :D

I guess I'm happy as everyone says raising/shoving is good the majority of the time we're good, just making sure that raising the way the hand was played, is correct.
