Home game with .05 ante. $5 bi.

Utg raises to .30
4 folds and I call on the button with TJc

Flop is A92 rainbow. 1 club

Utg checks
Button checks

Turn Qc (pot is .90)

Utg bets .65
Button shoves for 2.70

Is this a bad shove? My thoughts were something like: he raised pre but didn't cbet the A on the flop. He has either a monster that he wanted to c/r the flop or a weak A or a pocket pair. When he bet the turn I didn't want to call off a quarter of my stack on a combo draw, but felt I had too much equity to fold. I also know that he is a good player who is not calling with less than 2 pair unless he has good reason. Does the shove look so bluffy he should call?

I think shove is okay, although we don't rep that much there's not much of villains range that can call a shove. I think we get folds often enough to make this profitable.

I bet the flop small and expect more than enough folds to see a healthy profit. If he calls we have multiple backdoors.

I like the shove unless villains a huge fish which is likely at a home game in which case I like calling and bluffing bricked rivers.

Naw, this is a great table. I wouldn't play at it if we were playing big. Four good reg attendees, two fish reg, and two "how many cards do we use in Omaha" players. It's mostly just to hang out and have fun playing higher level poker (for some of us) than we can at the casino and not risk much to do it. I do kind of wish it wasn't ante but the fish won't play blinds. Don't really know why other than when they first started nobody knew what they were doing and now don't want to change.
