I'm pretty sure I know the correct thing to do here, but I need some confirmation. Preflop is standard as far as I know, and I've only got about 7 hands on BB.

I figure I have a good chance to take it down on the flop, and if I don't then most of the time when one of them calls I know they probably have a decently high heart in their hand, and I can predict their actions.

When BB calls, I put him on a high heart, maybe two overcards and a flush draw. He could be slow playing a made flush, but only if he has the A♥. I bet the turn, then he raises. If he didn't CR the flop with a heart, he won't likely do it on the turn. Best case, I'm tied for the low straight. But since I have half the 6's in the deck it's unlikely. More likely he has a J, maybe the J♥ or a higher heart with a jack.

So, I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to fold but I just wanted some confirmation.

I don't think you're hand or draw is strong enough and I really don't think you have much fold equity either only b/c at 5nl almost any hand imaginable is in their range to tag along...because....welll...it's 5nl.

I don't have a huge problem w/ betting the turn since you did make ur straight, even if it is the ass end. Check call - check raise by villian is a stronger line that has you beat a good majority of the time so I agree folding is fine here.

Look up "Baluga Theorem".

Yeah, I figured. Thanks. And it's a $5 max sit down.

I ended up being very stupid and raising. Eventually we got all in and he showed JQ with the [Qh].
