Let me guess, he was chasing a gutshot (86s or A3s 'cause why fold Ace on the flop) :D

With his stats I would say he has a PP, but since he isn't raising presumably he doesn't have a set and I can't imagine him not 3betting JJ+. Again, sample size is too small but against a guy who actually does 3bet 12% you can be fairly sure he doesn't have AJ.

I guess I would do the same but I get rivered disturbingly often so dunno how wise is to follow my advice.

there's no way a reg, or semireg would 3bet AJ on MP vs UTG raise so it's always in his range.

Dunno, people who 3bet 12% spew all over the place usually, you can't expect them to have carefully constructed balanced ranges in 5NL. You probably assume he is polarized between normal 3betting range and Axs?

It is worth noting that I play FR so this is the perspective I am talking from. In 6max people maybe 3bet more and ranges are different.

the sample is very small to make such assumption

Lets try another approach here.

What kind of thinking process, if any, did you employ while playing this hand?

I think u played this spot fine. Your probably good. My read Is he has a worse jack or something. I like your play here, he's just calling u the whole way through and I would think he would raise AJ, or two pair or a set at some point here. I like your play a lot here, and I think ur good going into the river for sure

Standard TAG 3bet ranges in 6max are 8-9%. 12% isn't overly aggressive.
