Villian is very agressive pre flop, and seems to change to balsa wood after.

I get in a mess at the end. How would you have played this differently?

Think u played it fine and river is a obviouse snap fold.
Villain is passive postflop and shoves river he is never doing this with worse then two pairs, AQ,A8,88,76 ect is the kinda hands he has and im not sure there is a single hand in his entier range that doesnt have u crushed.
Try to set a speed record for folding river .

I bet more on the flop & turn, and I call the river wicked quick.

Okay, so he is aggressive. I might put him on AK, maybe Ad Jd.PLease let us know the outcome. In any case, it's an easy fold. If he's bluffing then let him have it.

Definitely a fold. Put him at a 2 pair/slow played set. You played the rest well.
