Hero ???

Do I fire again or do I just try and keep the pot small even though i have 15 outs(though my FD might not even be good if he's chasing a flush too)

I also would like some input as to what I should do on the river:

River: ($0.70) 4

Hero checks, BB bets $1, Hero ???

Bet the turn, and the river.

Turn: Your draw sucks, you're unlikely to get paid on any card except for non-heart T, and you don't need much fold equity to make this semi-bluff profitable. If your draw has good implied odds, be more inclined to check/take free cards/call. If your draw has poor implied odds, be inclined to semi-bluff.

River: Standard Clarkmeister spot, and we can get called by worse.

I probably fold this preflop.

I agree with c9 about firing the turn.

River: Standard Clarkmeister spot, and we can get called by worse.

Do you mean we should be the river? bet/call? bet/fold?

Anyway, as played, it's probably a call on river, although I think it's close. It is a clarkmeister situation (4 to a flush) so villain could be bluffing a large range here. On the other hand, 25/7 is probably not the most aggressive type of players, but of course sample size is tiny and we don't really know how he plays postflop.

I'm not sure I agree with folding pre. J8 i think is a decent hand HU and most villains in the bb aren't 3 betting a raise from the sb at 5nl so moist of the time I'm getting a lot of folds and when i do get called i usually can take it down with a cbet.

C9, what kind if draws would i be check/ calling? And lastly what range can we put the bb on after he calls my cbet?

Also forgive title name i obv meant double gut shot straight draw

On this board, there aren't many draws worth check/calling, because its a 3-flush flop. So any heart coming out is going to get a lot of folds.

Draws with lots of implied odds are two card nut flush draws, backdoor flush draws, straight draws, and anytime you have a hand that's normally not in your range (say if you raised 9Ts from the hijack, and you flop Q86).

What's his range? AX, KX, QX, JT, 9X (with or without a heart probably). The only hands he can't have are big ones that wouldn't want to slowplay (AQ, sets, two pair, over-pairs).

And I agree with Fred that its probably a fold preflop. A 25/7 certainly isn't tight and you don't want some loose aggressive guy messing with you when you're trying to steal his blinds. Steal from nits. Pokerman27 had the same leak, where he would steal from the SB too often and get in weird spots where you have to play pots OOP with weak hands.

And when I say Clarkmeister the river, its a bet/fold.
