On the turn I had fold. It's cash game. It's not much of a beach, I'll wait for someone to talk about it. I fold on the turn

I think this is played well. UTG could have ace high flush draws and pairs that he might fold. It might not get through but the sizing is fine.

- play regular tables instead of snap whilst learning to play
- explain why playing random stack strategy is a good way to learn to play poker instead of playing with a full stack and maximise the amount you can win with your good hands.
- fold pre . against a typical UTG range you are roughly a 2:1 dog and likely dominated even when you hit .

equity Win Tie
MP2 64.88% 64.29% 0.60% { 55+, ATs+, KQs, AQo+, KQo }
MP3 35.12% 34.52% 0.60% { Kd9d }

then add in the complication that SB appears to be decent with 11% 3bet and you risk getting squeezed by him.

-flop fine
- turn i'd check behind as its unlikely that we get two players to fold when we bet and can control pot size and take a free look at hitting our flush.
- river you're charging him 24bb to win 94bb so he needs ~25% equity which he would likely figure that he has with his over pairs and Ax hands .Only hands in his range you are likely to fold out are 55 66

I agree that this is fold pre. Something like KQs (from Kx hands) would be auto call for me in this situation, while adding more hands requires some kinda information about the opponent.

There's aren't enough hands on V to ascertain whether he has any imbalances that make calling from the BUT profitable. Especially given as stated above K9s could easily be dominated. I'd actually prefer a 3B to a cold call here.

There's also a potential problem in the blinds. Fold pre as default.

As played flop. SB's check doesn't tell us much but V's less than half pot bet looks weak. This is a better time to try and take away.

Turn. Check behind take a free card. Bet larger if you're going to bet. You're not folding out enough made hands with that bet vs two opponents long term.

River. Don't mind the bet offering 3.3/1 ish on a call and a break even if 35% ish. Your folding out enough drawing hands, a percentage of Ax hands, sticky 88, 99 and other overcards that might be in there to make it profitable in the long run vs generic 5nl'er that isn't hand reading much.

But like above just to get involved I need more reason than just being on BT.

Check the turn. You called preflop with a speculative hand against an opponent with a very strong range, hoping his very strong range pays you when you hit big. You can't just decide he's bluffable on a whim and completely change plans.

I just check the turn and draw cheaply. Drawing 2 cards with a good draw for 4bb is rarely going to be a losing play against an UTG nit.

This call preflop can be profitable if there are fish in the blinds. Especially if you have a solid read on how to attack UTG in position.
