$5 NL HE 6-max: Good agressive behavior?....or just spewing?

Would you have kept on going in this hand?

Was there an advantage to fire the second barrel or was this just spewing?

I personally feel i should have given up on the hand reviewing it afterwards but what do u guys think?

BB: $7.32 (146.4 bb)
MP: $4.34 (86.8 bb)
CO: $5 (100 bb)
Hero (BTN): $4.13 (82.6 bb)
SB: $2.29 (45.8 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is BTN with A

MP calls $0.05, CO folds, Hero raises to $0.22, SB folds, BB calls $0.17, MP folds

Flop: ($0.51) 7

BB bets $0.15, Hero raises to $0.35, BB calls $0.20

Looked like a weak bet to me and I put his range on a middle pair, a strong ace, I figured he'd seen me raise first and I continue my agression on the flop but he called.

Turn: ($1.21) T

BB checks, Hero bets $0.65, BB calls $0.65

Again check calling, if hes drawing at least hes paying for it. Really I wanted hinm to fold here.

River: ($2.51) 6

BB checks, Hero checks

I gave up here, didnt look like he was gonna fold whatever he had and I didnt wanna put more money with ace high.

Results: $2.51 pot ($0.16 rake)
Final Board: 7

Raise the flop larger, and then just shut down when he calls. Maybe call a river bet when all the draws miss.

I agree with a bigger flop raise and then shutting down, BUT I do think that if you're going to bet the turn you need to bet it bigger and with every intention of bluff shoving the river. Yes it's spewy buy not as wasteful overall as the line you took imo.

Also never ever start a hand with less than 100bb in your stack.

decisions....

sometimes with AK I think all in regardless of watching the hand unfold...If I have a small amount of money it's ez to just go all in before the flop. If someone is toying with u, u have to see the end of it. Take a deep breath and try not to go on Tilt.

I'm betting here, the Raise/Reraise/Call on the flop is definitely not screaming queen. Possibly a 7 but more like Axc

Most likely he's running for the Axs flush draw, I make a 1/2 pot "value-bet bluff" on the river. 75% of the time they fold.
