So I'm not sure what started it, but some how me and Player 5 got into a bit of a fued with each other. I think it was because I noticed he was very loose and agressive, so I got it in my mind that I just needed to make a hand that beats most of his range and I can stack him. The rest of the table were passive nits (with the exception of one guy who was on the loose side of a reg)
Me and Player 5 are going back and forth, hand after hand, almost every two hands. bluffing at each other, trying to max out value when we made a hand. pretty much just trying to outplay each other. a few marginal situations but really it was pretty straightforward headsup style play, almost as if the other players weren't there, any preflop raise by me or player 5 would usually isolate us from the other players.
Finally after playing mostly higher card hands against him, I was dealt 2c5c and decided that this would be a sneaky hand to stack Player 5 with if it hit. It has the potential to flop a straight draw, a flush draw, or even a pair headsup still has showdown value.

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 2:club: 5:club:
fold, Hero raises to 4 BB, fold, BTN calls 4 BB, fold, BB calls 3 BB
Flop: (12.4 BB, 3 players) 7:heart: 8:spade: 5:spade:
BB checks, Hero bets 12 BB, BTN raises to 24 BB, fold, Hero raises to 40.6 BB, BTN calls 16.6 BB
Im thinking BTN doesnt have anything here and was trying to rebluf
Turn: (93.6 BB, 2 players) 2:diamond:
Hero bets 72.6 BB, BTN calls 65.2 BB
Here, Im thnking he has over cards and hopes to river a pair or is assuming I'm bluffing and hopes to take it with a high card.
I think this is definitely some marginal play, and might even fall under serious tilt...
remember kids, dont play poker when your tired, you'll get grumpy and do stupid stuff like this.
Was this play correct? (yes i know the preflop is probably wrong, in most 6max settings, but I know player 5 was going to be isolated before I even raised)
