Not sure I agree with that. You tend to have lower fold equity vs stations, but against a LAG, once you start showing aggression they tend to get honest pretty quick, unless they're a maniac (this guy seems like a maniac). Just because a LAG can pile on the pressure, it doesn't mean they don't fold to it. They have a wider range pre, which means we beat them by getting them to fold more against our tighter range.
With this hand, I'm not sure how much FE you have here, but that's because of his betting in this hand rather than his preflop stats. Oh and I think I'd be happy with a fold from AK, since we're not far from flipping with that surely (not stoved it though), in fact he's prob slightly ahead even.
Having said all that, I think I'd have played the hand in the same way - embrace the gamble!
