SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has T T

fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, BTN calls 3 BB, SB raises to 8 BB, fold, Hero calls 5 BB, BTN calls 5 BB

Flop: (25 BB, 3 players) Q 8 T
SB bets 9 BB, Hero raises to 20 BB, fold, SB raises to 31 BB, Hero calls 11 BB

Turn: (87 BB, 2 players) 3
SB bets 58.6 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 58.6 BB

River: (204.2 BB, 2 players) 9

Even worse the turn is as well.
I have the feeling the correct play would be to fold the turn even though I did not. Or am I missing something? Should I play it differently?
Thanks for a comment

I would've called the 9bb instead of raising 20bb on the flop. A mid-set has showdown value but it's far from the nuts. You don't want to go all-in unless you have a read that the player is extremely aggressive and bluff happy.

The 58.6bb on the turn gives you around a 3.5:1 to call. Assuming he has a flush then the odds to hit a house+ would be 34:10. It's worth the call but you shouldn't have put yourself in this situation in the first place.

I would assume he had you beat in this situation given the 9c on the river.

Thanks for the answers!
I didn't shove because I thought I would get called only by a flush. But given my following actions it would have probably been the best decision anyway.

I reraised the flop though hoping to get a fold or a cheap turn showing weakness.

And I didn't want to be in the position of just calling not knowing what to do next.
Or better said, once I just call the flop and he supposedly bet turn and river what do I do?

Yes, you should fold on the turn.

But before that, you should insta shove on the flop. 2nd set on a brutally wet flop vs a 3bet from villain, you finish the playing here with a jam.
