I remember him being aggressive before but can't remember the actual hands

All I read was 5nlhe overbet in 3bet pot. Fold.

I think the GTO here is to call (MDF=41% and we are at the top of range on this pre-river action).
But... Villain really looks like some kind of TAG-fish with these weird sizings and population read.
So the question becomes should we make an exploitiative fold?
Looking at our pot-odds our required equity is 37%. Will he show up with air 37% of the time? If so - call.
In order to call this, I think you should have a better read on him being an aggro bluffer that might be taking advantage of us appearing capped.

Id fold, people dont overpot bluff enough. Id snap call vs like a 90% pot or smaller sizing vs this villain though.
