Literally the first hand, my HUD hadn't popped up yet, so no reads. I knew I was behind on turn, is the call ok hoping for a paired board to shove on?

Turn would be fine if we were closing the action but I don't know since UTG is yet to act. Hate leading the flop though. Go for the ch/r UTG is going to cbet a good percentage of the time and I really think you need to be trying to get it all in on the flop.

I'm calling

I think you played it right. They are not folding very likely if the board pairs. I would be thrilled that I only have to call 55 cents here to have a shot at the rest of their stack.

PF is fine, but why are we leading this flop? I'm going for a sizable c/r here almost 100% of the time.

As played, call the turn. 10 outs isn't a "miracle card" - it is in fact a flat ton of equity and folding here is out of the question. Even if UTG shoves behind us with specifically the Ad, we can still make a profitable call if CO comes along (and he will some of the time).

If CO doesn't come along, it's a call/fold, but UTG doesn't raise and CO comes along when he does way often enough for us to make this call in the middle.

My thought of leading the flop was to protect my hand. I can see the ch/r working also. Usually, if I'm OOP with a set, I will ch/r, but with wet boards I thought the usual play was to protect.

I saw Lindgren do it on PAD, so I tried his way. ;)
