Hey Sneak... these are the hands where there should be no mystery on what you want to do. So if you aren't sure, punch it up on an equity calculator. You should ask questions in terms of range. Is my range that I put my opponent on here accurate? Work in those terms instead of results oriented thinking. Very important my friend... use this one if you don't have one you like:

or online version:

What u got? I got that this is easy call because he should only have 3 combos of 8:s here, maybe 1 JJ.

This is a trivial spot, if he has a set so is life. Coolers happen to you and you will deal them to other players. From time to time I wouldn't be shocked to see an overplayed Ax.

Don't even worry about the results sneaky. Post what you thought his hand range is in here and the equity you had in your hand vs his. That's the only way these kinds of hands will become easy calls for you.

Thanks John will do. I figured that it was an easy call but with your help I now have the equity calculator and can use that to clear things up. I did put him on a draw but thought it was crazy that he was willing to stack off with it. Some people are just weird. 😀

It's unfortunate how the board ran out lol
