$5 NL HE 6-max: Button flopped set of Ks but didn't bet
I guess given the results I should give him credit for losing the minimum with a set of kings vs. the nuts.
Afterwards he says he remembered an earlier hand where he called my all in raise with my KJ vs. his K9 with a K on the flop. (the Pot ended up being split on a lucky board pairing river card for him) He said he was wary of bets from me since I was playing tight, but still, he was only beaten by AA or QJ.
Had I known he had a set, I would have bet more aggressively.
I can't believe he didn't bet the flop with a set of kings though. I thought maybe he had JJ or something cuz with AK or AQ, I would assume he'd bet the flop after the preflop limp/calls.
The situation was perfect for me to double up, but alas he played cautiously.
I was able to float and bluff a couple of pots away with a tight image but when I really had the nuts, wasn't able to get too much value.
