The low bet sizing wasn't intentional - i was focusing on another big hand at the same time. I had quite a good read on the fish. As you can see from his stats his aggression is very high. But my read is that he tends to minbet and then give up with his air, and blindly bet full pot on every street when he has any piece of the board (even third pair).

I'd seen him bet a lot before but this was the first time i'd seen a raise. the fact that he'd just called on the 678 board and then raised the J turn made me think he might be strong this time (after all fish hit hands too). another concern was that another player was still in the hand (24/20 reg) so i thought there was a good chance that one of them had me beat. thoughts?

A fish that can give up with air check raises two people on the turn... easy fold. But yes, you should have bet a little more. The bet sizing makes it a little more difficult, but I'd still fold.

I did make the fold but i started having doubts when the "reg" called the check/raise with just A5 and the fish turned over ATo for just a gutshot and won! Bizarre

Results mean nothing, you played this hand correctly except for that your bet was simply too small on the turn as stated above.

Definitely folding is the right play here usually unless villain is loose and if we have a read on him but still it was a very strong line by the villain to take there check raising 2 opponents so it would be a very tough call so good fold. :)
