Bad card to double barrel, check/fold the turn. Also, limping along is an option preflop if you had reads that they don't fold.

I have heard people argue that the 2nd ace is good for you because that is one less ace in their hand. What are your thoughts on this kind of thinking?

Just limp along preflop. No reason to bet on either flop on turn. You have no infos in any opponents.

It would be better if we had some information on the table to make this play from SB, but I like the play. Limped to SB, I like the open raise. Then the flop hits early position opening range hard, so I would continue too. The turn isn't great as a lot of villains are limp calling with weak aces, but I like taking one more shot here. If you get called/raised, you're done though. NH.
