Less than 50 hands on villain, I had been doing a fairly standard 3bb PFR with my range (~21/19 over same hand period).

Pretty bad flop, I had never seen villain face a c-bet before but this didn't seem like the right texture. Flat call on turn for some pot control, intending to value the river on a good card. When villain leads out with the big overbet I essentially put him on a 7*.

Are there any reasonable bluffs he could have here? Should I have considered raising the turn or c-betting the flop more seriously?

*unless someone is a total spewy maniac, I put them on a big hand when I see that river overbet these days. Seems to be a favorite move for some ppl and seems to rarely be a bluff.

I like c-betting the flop. As played why not raise the turn -and on the river - how can you do anything but call?

Not a great flop, but if we cbet and get raised, we can re-evaluate. It's not that scary a flop.

There's no reason imo to practice any pot control on the turn. Kx hands are a big part of Villain's range (most of which we have dominated), as are flush and straight draws. We would like to charge the draws and would love to get value from worse K's. If we get 3bet on the turn, we can consider a different line.

As played, call the river. The only way I credit Villain with a 7 is if we'd gotten raised on a flop cbet or 3bet on a turn raise.

Yeah, overbets are almost always what Villain views as a big hand (for example, I doubt this is a busted flush draw at this limit). The problem here is that Villain may see KQ/KJ as a big hand given the way the hand's played out. If he shows up w 7x/KT/QcJc, then kick yourself for not raising the turn.

What is he repping that beats you here, he bets draw on flop usually his weak bet on turn means he has nothing then he overbets pot on river such a weird line.

You can't put villain on 7x because you haven't shown proper aggression. Villain never assumes you have AK here with this extremely passive line.
