re: Poker & $5 NLHE 6-max: Bad c/r all-in with KK?
We will assume you are asking about your C/R on the flop, cuz you put yourself all in.
I say no. An A showed, I'm thinking you're screwed, same reasons as rssurfer.
I would then caution against the 'ALL-IN' state of mind that sometimes/often pervades the game these days, like everyone is out to be the next Gus Hansen or durrrrr or something. Ask yourself if it was an involuntary reaction move brought on by your interpretation of his 'numbers'. Remember even LAGS hit the flop occasionaly (oddly more often than I do).
Villains numbers do suggest he is in with sub prime cards, but those also suggest he could have hit his cards bigger than your KK.
Then again, if you had $$$ behind, and not short stacked the table to start with (I do the same thing btw), villain would have reason for concern, but to him, you represent an acceptable risk, and if he even hit 2nd pair or 3rd for that matter, he might be willing to gamble.
If anything, you probably should have exploited the short stack image up front by shoving PF.
Keep in mind I am a losing NLHE ring game player.
