Hey guys, it's over a year since I last played now I think, slowly getting back into it. I used to play up around .25nl, but I've dropped down to 5nl just to make sure the decision making is what it used to be :/

So, ran into this earlier. I snap folded flop, double checking - anybody looking to continue here?

I don't know, just, people often don't care about busting a 5 cent tournament, this is usually a strong flop on that level. Of course if opp is a player he might have king something or suited cards, which would be a coinflip, going into an all in situation.

With villain being UTG and looking at 3bet, he could of possibly had AKo/s.

Yeah this looks like a good fold lots of AK out there and sets of 9s also possible. It's a pretty pot committing bet so if you continue its all in with a 1 pair hand which after the flop is normally not enough.
The only slight reservation is that his stats are already starting to look agg. It's important to make notes in players like this.

Yeah, pretty straight forward and easy fold. I think a lot of players at 5nl will be bad enough to make this play with AA/KK/99 and AK before they'd be doing it with a draw. Good fold. It's a bad play because except for 99, if they have those other hands it really reduces your combos of hands that will continue here to a pot committing CR in a 3-bet pot.

Seems he is ahead. He is somehow not afraid of A appearing on the flop.

Personally, I believe this is a good fold.

Don't fold.

Hands that beat you are AK, A9, and 99: 15 combos

Hands you beat are AJ, AT: 16 combos

Include bluffs and random weaker Ax hands and your win chance is even better. Not to mention dead money in the pot. You should play for stacks for sure.

Opponents can easily rationalize you playing QQ or JJ this way so they will continue with Ax hands that shouldn't play this way.
