Full Tilt - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

MP: $5.25 (VPIP: 18.19, PFR: 13.56, 3Bet Preflop: 5.18, hands: 1,287)
CO: $1.99 (VPIP: 48.94, PFR: 13.98, 3Bet Preflop: 5.88, Hands: 101)
Hero (BTN): $7.46
SB: $4.81 (VPIP: 20.12, PFR: 14.89, 3Bet Preflop: 6.83, Hands: 509)
BB: $5.68 (VPIP: 17.60, PFR: 16.94, 3Bet Preflop: 8.54, Hands: 255)
UTG: $2.85 (VPIP: 66.67, PFR: 35.90, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 40)

SB posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has A:heart: K:heart:

UTG raises to $0.10, MP calls $0.10, fold, Hero raises to $0.50, fold, fold, UTG calls $0.40, MP calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.57, 3 players) 9:heart: J:spade: T:heart:
UTG bets $0.40, fold, Hero calls $0.40
--> probably should have put in a healthy reraise here...

Turn: ($2.37, 2 players) 5:club:
UTG bets $1.12, Hero calls $1.12
... instead of calling that turn bet...

River: ($4.61, 2 players) 4:diamond:
UTG bets $0.83 and is all-in, fold

[spoil]UTG wins $4.38
[/spoil]

Called the turn because I counted at least 12 outs (flush and straight draw) plus probably even just another K or A. Villain raised 5/7 hands from UTG, called 3/4 3 bets, 2 of them from UTG, playing rather passive post-flop. How would you have played that hand?

Easy raise on the flop against that tiny donk bet, the pot has $1.97 in it after his flop bet and he has about $1.95 left. Just get it in there, donk bets like this are usually pretty weak. The problem with the awkward size of flop bet you allowed is when villain leads out on the turn you have 0 fold equity since he has so little behind.

If effective stack sizes were deep I would play it different but not in this spot.

Also, as played, not horrible since you got great odds on your draws but passive playing the nut straight and flush draw is just bad IMO. Unless he flopped a straight you were crushing any hand he had.

Not tough to see him hit at least a pair here, with such a wide range; but I agree, the flop is the time to find out with a raise. As played through that point, folding the turn.

I think some solid aggression would be well warranted on that flop. I think a raise is good. You have a ton of equity and really want to get it in, especially since it is a 3bet pot you can expect to get a lot of calls. a QQ call is great here, and if another AK calls you are riding the gravy train.

All that being said, at least you folded the river. God knows what he had, but its probably weighted towards things that beat you.
