Just call pre... AJs flops great, but bleeds money in 3-bet pots because it's always dominated.

The flop is only a hard call because you 3-bet.

you played it well as far as im concerned, but that diamond on the river worries me a bit..

I agree with this 100%.......If you call you dominate his button opening range
If you 3bet and he flats you are likely dominated or a slight dog to his mid pairs and what if he 4 bets you? It's one of those hands that is such a waste of equity if you have to fold pre when you had a chance of seeing a flop.
I keep my 3betting really polarised here to value (that can stand a 4 bet) or light weak aces and kings that are easy to let go but can still out flop a medium pair.

I don't think this is really true now a days. People, even at these stakes, re-defend pretty wide in position to 3-bets. You're 3-betting for value, and trying to move your opponent off some better hands if he just calls pre (ie AQ/AK). I don't mind calling either, but just saying, 3-betting here isn't bad either.

Any ways, as played OP I'd lean towards a fold. I think your best case scenario is you're looking at a split. AK is going to be 4-betting a lot pre in this spot, and mostly just calling post on this flop in position. Beyond that, there's really almost no hands you're ahead and there's only a few you're basically even money versus like QdTd.

Man, you have some of the toughest spots (I do read most of your posts, but don't have any clear DO/DON'T answers for them)

Even here, I'm not going to say what you should/shouldn't have done, but just gonna ask what hand did he show? JJ+, AK, AQ or QJ?

I actually seen a few videos where its best to just call with AJ... But because all of these people watching blackrain.

We gotta 3bet for value these days with Ajs heh
