Seems dangerous to me, for all you know he has one or two clubs in his hand. I would check and see what he does. If the guy is a fish, I would start betting if he checks, and fold if he bets.

Also, shoving seems a lot here, you could just bet big instead of shoving.

Shoving seems too aggro on this board... He can still have some strong club draws which I think will call you... You will be ahead for sure but IF you are sure he is a fish you dont need to take such gambly risks I think..

Just C-bet big and see what he does. If you shove, what worse hands are you getting called by? I think only by big club cards and you will be ahead most likely, but still... I think its overplaying the aces

How did the hand go?

I would also make a decent 3-bet, if he has JJ or two clubs he will re-raise; all the hands he would call with you are likely well ahead. So, [edit:] 24-30 BB c-bet and fold to a re-raise. A shove is too risky, I agree.

I agree with Afgo, shoving in this situation seems overly aggressive. Test the waters, if he calls get out of there.

My initial assumption is that play is valid given from the question you obviously think he will call 7high FD +, top pair and some medium pairs.

You don’t provide enough information for me at least to figure out what kind of fish he is. Anyways this play is not standard enough so there is no point of learning it because you need to unlearn it quite soon and cases you can use it are super rare. As a tool, yes, you need to realize it's a possibility, more for 2NL regular tables though.
