This is fine until the river.

I am check/folding the river there. If he wants to bluff us off our hand then wp but I would expect him to have some kind of showdown value that wants to check back the river if he doesnt have a flush or straight.

I don't want to be a dick but bet/calling off here is really really bad. My advice to you, and I've been through this before, is to take a look at your river call on PT4. If it's negative, then you have a problem. For a lot of players this is where they end up losing chunks of winrate because mistakes on the river are worse because of pot size.

If you are negative when calling (must be calling river, not betting) then start folding to river bets more and I guarantee you will see your winrate rise.

As said before me the line of play till the river was perfect till the river bet.

The BTN can call here with a wide range. From small and middle pairs to some small and middle suited connectors. Also some A rag suited (you do block some of this combos) suited and KQ, KJ, J10, Q10 …..( soooo… very wide ).

The flop comes 4♠ T♣ 9♣. BB checks, you bet and BTN just calls and so does the BB.

Now, I would leave out a set or 2 pairs. The board is very wet so if the BTN had something he would have betted here. Leave out some small pairs too (22-33, 55-88) because they are not calling here a 2/3 bet with two over cards (some one can call with 77-88 but I think in this spot they are very improbable). We definitely get all the strait and flush seekers here.

The turn is a very bad card for you: Q♣.
Everything gets there. Straits, Flushes and also some Q10 that called the flop raise with a good top pair.
I liked your bet here. It let us gain some info on who is coming after us. Also the bet size was ok.
You loose the BB but you get a call from the BTN.

You really had to be worried about this call.
Why is the BTN calling?

He called us when the board was 4♠ T♣ 9♣ so he had some kind of fit in that board and when the Q♣ came he still wanted to call a 2/3 sized bet. This lets me think that he is comfortable with this board. Your one pair is not good anymore here for sure.

I think that the river was irrelevant for him but for you should have been a big red sign of STOP.
In my opinion a check/fold fitted better in this spot.

Don`t thinkso that the Turn and River bet was good idea. My opinion is that F is ok and check/call with A♣ in yourhand ,chk/fold river. As you played with no blocker, FD and SD are complited just chk/ fold river
