$5 NL HE 6-max: Was this a good shove?

Hello gents,

I'v posted a few similar hands, the only thought i put into it at this point was that there was no point in c-betting the flop but then he led out.

It didnt look likely to me the flop had hit him. Allthough there is a certain coordination to the flop.

BTN: $5.05 (101 bb)
Hero (SB): $4.45 (89 bb)
BB: $5.56 (111.2 bb)
MP: $0.84 (16.8 bb)
CO: $5.18 (103.6 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is SB with K

MP folds, CO raises to $0.20, BTN folds, Hero raises to $0.65, BB folds, CO calls $0.45

Flop: ($1.35) 7

Hero checks, CO bets $0.20, Hero raises to $0.65, CO raises to $1.20, Hero raises to $3.80 and is all-in, CO calls $2.60

Turn: ($8.95) Q

Results: $8.95 pot ($0.59 rake)

Just cbet the flop. It's a highly coordinated board and if he checks it back there are a ton of cards you're going to hate to see on the turn. As played it's fine to get AI (though your ch/raise size is kind of small). Tons of draws and pairs that you're ahead of on the flop. 3bet pot and an overpair you're basically never wrong to ship it.

Also turn on auto-top up. Starting with less than a full stack is bad.

3-bet larger pre, c-bet the flop. Stacking this is standard.

larger pre? I always thought 3x raise was good enough?

Yes, this was a good shove. From my experience a lot of opponents at this level won't ever after they 3bet on the flop

Not cbetting this flop is very very bad especially being OOP. There's a ton of turns that are going to leave you completely lost. On a draw heavy board like this getting it in is super easy since you'll get called by a ton of hands you dominate (pps, fds, pair+guttys). If villian checks behind with like JJ and an 8 or 9 turns he's shutting down and that's it for value.
