No HUD stats unfortunately. The flop is quite draw heavy but I Cbet for value. looking back at it I probably should've bet the turn but wanted some pot control and to allow him to bluff.

Any thoughts on how I could have played this better? Villain had AQ by the way.

Bet the river. His range is full of top pairs and missed draws, if we have no proof he will bet his missed draws then we have to bet this.

For me I am playing 100bbs at least at all times. I would 3bet bigger out of position.
Depending on the type of player I'm playing but mostly I'm cbetting that flop, turn and river. If he is calling that flop then he will call most turns as its a nothing card So get value from drawing hands and top pair type hands. If he raises on the turn then you will be beat most of the time

Out of position on a wet board with a shortish stack in a reraised pot and you're thinking about pot control on the turn? Bet/bet/jam looks fine here on this runout. Wrong SPR here imo for that mindset.

Anyway, as played, I'm unlikely to put this player on a set when he flat calls otf and bets half ott, given board texture, and I prefer to jam over his turn bet (I may get called a spewtard here for saying that) than to check/call turn and then lead otr. If I'm beat, I'm beat, but there's just so much else he can have, and we block KJ.

Why slow down on the turn? I think we should be the turn and the river.

Buy in full
3bet larger
Bet flop larger
Shove turn

Checkcalling a hand this strong down will not save your stack vs better hands yet will save your opponents stack when he holds weaker hands. Checking the turn is very very -ev.

Please don't mention what villain has. Spoiler also not needed. It is not about what his actual 2 cards were as far as your play is concerned.
