Thought in the hand:
After 4bet, I put it in AQs + / AA-KK-QQ. Folding AK against stranger seemed to me very exploitable so i pay, if i did not tie on the flop simply fold.
I decide to go for a check-call line on the flop with hearts backdoor.
Having an A on the flop and having another one it was difficult to put in AA. It also blocked KK, and QQ was blocked too. AQ practically discarded. I mean, all the hands I put it in were blocked
So basically I did not know where to put it, I bet half a boat and he pay. I really had no idea where I was when he call. My question is if I should have taken value from the river or the check-call line was fine. There is also the possibility that he is slowplay with a full. After seeing the river: I had nothing or was ruined. So trying to avoid the check-raise, I checked.
Checking was too cautious?
