Total unknown here at a Zoom game. I usually don't 4-bet bluff without stats backing up my decision but I was very tired of getting 3-bet during this session and I guess it's tilt at work.
Anyway, if we were 100bb deep I would except him to ship AK and I can only see AQ in his calling range that has an ace (or trapping with AA), but with 150bb, do you think most villains flat or shove AK?
So, I bet small on the flop and think I'm doing it with all my range. When called I figured that I probably wouldn't get called many streets by a pocket pair or weaker aces (which he might holds if he's a fish) so I checked, aware that he could try to take a stab here on the turn. I called hoping that the river would check-check. I ended up calling because I showed weakness so far and he could have plenty of bluffs based on action. Your thoughts? What do you think is the best line here?
I'm rarely facing this situation where I get action when I 4-bet bluff with an ace AND connect on the flop.
Thx!
