poker stars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (6 handed) - Poker Stars Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.com

Hero (BB) ($5.36)

MP ($6.53)
CO ($10.35)
Button ($5)
SB ($3.39)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q:heart:, Q:spade:
2 folds, CO calls $0.05, 1 fold, SB bets $0.18, Hero raises $0.60, CO calls $0.60, SB calls $0.45

Flop: ($1.95) 9:diamond:, 7:heart:, 6:heart: (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.40, CO calls $1.40, 1 fold

Turn: ($4.75) 2:club: (2 players)
Hero bets $3.31 (All-In), CO calls $3.31

River: ($11.37) 5:diamond: (2 players, 1 all-in)

Not too much to say, turn is a blank and everything that could beat me would have raised the flop, I think. Shove and get max value from draws?

The shove is like 2/3 pot. Betting anything less wouldn't make sense although I'm not sure how many draws the CO can have.

Yeah, I got myself trapped into shoving, but I dislike betting anything less on the flop. He will raise such a wet flop with anything better than 1 pair though, right?

I can't think of anything he can have other than draws, or maybe TT.

Just looked back at the hand. Guy was 79/14/3. I should have posted this in the OP, thought I did with the hand conversion + stats.

I think A8 is as likely as him having a set.

It would be my guess he is calling the shove with a straight draw or flush draw or quite possibly 2 pair?
I would play it the same as you did in hopes to fold him out of hitting the straight but he called.
So did you win? What did he have?

Villain had Js8h

ouch bad luck, Some time the fish get fed. I would stick with your play but as you can see they call sometimes and sometimes they win.

Keep up the good play you will win that hand most of the time.
